Our Winter Classes begin Saturday, January 4th!

All classes are held at Vera Dance Studio in Mundelein at 632 E Hawley Street.

Special Mantón Workshop: January 4 and 11 (Special class to learn to use the flamenco shawl. You can attend 1 day or both (different material both days). More details below on the class link. 10am-10:55am

Winter Session: January 25-March 22 (No Class on Feb 1)

10am-10:55am Beginners Level 1 Class for adults

11am-11:30am Guajiras Choreography Class with the abanico or pericón (flamenco fans). Fan will be provided if you do not have one. About Guajiras: 12 ct compas (rhythm) with a fun and flirty attitude, one of the Cantes de Ida y Vuelta, influenced by the trade and music in the West Indies/Cuba.

Spring Session: April 5-May 24

10am-10:55am Beginners Level 1 Class for adults

11am-11:30am Sevillanas Choreography Class. Learn this beautiful partner dance that you can do with any other person who knows a version of it! We will get to dance this with each other at the Feria in May.

Feria! Coming this May, a Spanish Festival and Party to celebrate all the work we have done in class this year. Olé!

Beginner Level 2 Classes will be added in the fall. Contact me with any questions. Please contact me about options for kids/tweens. Private classes are available as well.
